Turning this skillset into a sustainable career: Monetization |
Once you have written the idea for your story, you capture the images, record the voices, gathered the thematic music-now it's time to put it all together-and that's called editing. Editing can be summed up into this phrase: keeping the good parts and deleting the bad parts and arranging it in a way that is compelling to the audience. The students will be editing on Final Cut Pro.

With this new skillset comes the responsibility to monetize-or turn this into a sustainable business! That does not mean simply posting your videos online and hoping for the best. This requires a plan-a business plan. We will teach you how to explore your options on building a sustainable plan from the person who won the Winston-Salem Business Plan Contest. In addition to the business plan, we've partnered up with Piedmont Federal Savings Bank to help you with the financial literacy aspect of the business.
